Maple Caramel Spread

Real maple flavour doesn’t need to shout to be noticed.

I have a deep appreciation for maple products, but I sometimes feel this beautiful ingredient loses its character when we try to make it taste artificially intense.

For our maple caramel, we use real maple syrup. I’ll always prefer an authentic, delicate, well-balanced flavour over an artificial taste that overpowers everything else.

The result is a smooth spread that brings together the indulgence of caramel and the distinctive character of maple. On toast, crêpes, or brioche, it’s a little taste of Québec.

You can also warm it gently in a bain-marie or microwave to create a sauce for drizzling over ice cream, fruit salad, or dessert.

With a label designed to complement our soft caramel collection, it fits naturally into an assortment of treats made here.

For your boutique, it’s a lovely way to offer a product with a strong Québec identity that’s easy to give and versatile enough to become a pantry favourite.

A generous assortment is an invitation to come back.

At Chocolat Boréal, we believe variety and abundance are part of the shopping experience. A well-stocked display encourages customers to discover several flavours, enjoy a little variety, and return for their favourites.

Keep this spread in your assortment and reorder before running out: every customer who comes back for a favourite is an opportunity to build lasting loyalty.

From our family, to yours.

For over twenty years, Ludovic Fresse has been an independant master chocolatier.

With his wife Florence, they started Chocolat Boréal in 2017, as a small business engaged in its community, with values that would represent them and that would make their children, Édouard and Claire, proud.

The aim of Chocolat Boréal is to transmit the passion and know-how of fine chocolate making to future generations, while having the smallest environmental impact possible.

Don't just take our word for it.
