Old-Fashioned Hard Candy – Peach

Some flavours capture the feeling of summer in a single bite. Peach is one of them.

I wanted to recreate the sweetness and fragrance of a perfectly ripe peach picked under the summer sun. This flavour brings to mind farmers’ markets, freshly harvested fruit, and the simple pleasures we associate with warm summer days.

Peach is naturally appealing to everyone: sweet, fruity, and comforting. It speaks to classic candy lovers while offering customers a handcrafted treat with a true sense of character.

I especially love this recipe because it tells a story of travel and terroir. It brings to mind Canada’s great fruit-growing regions, such as British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley and Ontario’s Niagara region, where peaches are part of the local agricultural heritage.

Handcrafted in our chocolate factory in Québec using natural flavours and naturally sourced colours, this candy offers a local alternative to imported confectionery. It is available in two complementary formats: our elegant metal tin, perfect as a gift, souvenir, or collectible item, and our larger transparent pouch, ideal for refilling candy jars or replenishing the tin at home.

Each format plays a different role in your assortment: the tin creates a giftable experience, catches attention, and encourages customers to discover different flavours, while the pouch offers a more economical option that encourages larger purchases. Together, they create a more complete offering and increase sales opportunities. When ordered by the case, our tins come in ready-to-display integrated countertop displays to make merchandising simple and effective.

At Chocolat Boréal, we believe a generous assortment does more than enhance your offering: it reassures your customers, builds purchasing habits, and supports the continuity of your sales. That’s why we encourage you to reorder before running out, so every purchase already creates the desire for your customer to come back for the next one.

Every day this flavour is missing from your assortment is an opportunity for sales and customer loyalty that you are leaving to a competitor. Order now
